Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that on 22 July 1964 the Convention for the Development of the European Pharmacopoeia was adopted in Strasbourg and on 16 November 1989 the Protocol to the Convention for the Development of the European Pharmacopoeia.
The Parliament of the Czech Republic has agreed to the Convention and Protocol.
The Charter on the access of the Czech Republic to the Convention for the elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia supplemented by the Protocol of 16 November 1989 was deposited with the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe on 19 March 1998.
The Convention entered into force on 8 May 1974 on the basis of Article 11 (2) and the Protocol entered into force on 1 November 1992 on the basis of Article 8 thereof. For the Czech Republic, the Convention supplemented by the Protocol of 16 November 1989 entered into force in accordance with Article 12 (3) of the Convention on 20 June 1998.
