GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 21 July 2003
amending certain government regulations issued for the implementation of Act No. 22 / 1997 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Products and amending and supplementing certain laws, as amended
The Government orders pursuant to Section 22 of Act No. 22 / 1997 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Products and on the Amendment and Addition of Certain Acts, as amended by Act No. 71 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 205 / 2002 Coll., ("the Act ') to implement Sections 12 and 13 of the Act:
Amendment of the Government Regulation laying down technical requirements for construction products referred to as CE
Government Decree No. 190 / 2002 Coll., laying down technical requirements for construction products referred to as CE, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1 (3) is deleted.
Paragraph 4 shall become paragraph 3.
2. In Article 1 (3), "1 to 3 'is replaced by" 1 and 2, except in the cases referred to in Article 8';
3. In Article 8 (1), the words "a transitional period," may be replaced by the words "allowing them not to apply for a transitional period, may be used for that period."
4. In Paragraph 8, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) In the case of products intended for placing on the market exclusively in the Czech Republic, it may be treated in accordance with the specific legislation3) instead of this Regulation where the technical standard referred to in paragraph 1 or the European technical approval does not contain a transitional provision. '
Paragraph 2 shall become paragraph 3.
5. Paragraph 9 (2) is deleted and paragraph 1 is deleted.
EFFECTIVE
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication, with the exception of the provisions of Article XI to XIV, which shall take effect on the date of publication of the Decision of the Association Council annexed to the Protocol to the Europe Agreement on Conformity Assessment and Acceptance of Industrial Products in the Collection of International Treaties.
(2) Articles I to X and Article XVI shall cease to apply on the date of entry into force of the Treaty of Accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union.
