on the honorary titles "deserving cultural worker" and "exemplary cultural worker"
The Government of the Czech Socialist Republic orders according to § 9 paragraph 4 of Act No. 62 / 1962 Coll., on the Lease of Honours:
In order to appreciate the merits of the workers of artistic and other cultural institutions, such as museums, galleries, libraries, cultural educational establishments, state conservation and conservation of nature, organisations of book culture, cultural facilities of social organisations, as well as voluntary and public administration workers in the cultural sector (hereinafter referred to as "cultural workers') who have achieved extraordinary work results in the development of socialist culture, the honorary titles" deserving cultural worker 'and "model cultural worker' are introduced.
(1) The honorary title of "deserving cultural worker" is awarded to cultural workers who have worked on the relevant section of culture for at least 15 years and have been an example of follow-up by their dedicated work and their particularly excellent work results.
(2) The honorary title of "model cultural worker" is awarded to cultural workers who have worked on the relevant section of culture for at least 10 years and have achieved remarkable work success with their particularly conscientious and exemplary work.
(1) Honorary titles "deserving cultural worker" and "model cultural worker" are awarded by the Minister of Culture of the Czech Socialist Republic; shall be awarded on the occasion of significant cultural events or of the lives of cultural workers.
(2) At the same time, cultural workers who have been awarded an honorary degree will be given a certificate of award (diploma). Honorary degrees are associated with the right to wear an honorary badge.
(1) The Minister of Culture shall withdraw an honorary title from a cultural worker who commits an act which makes him unworthy of an honorary title or if the fact that he has been awarded an honorary degree is subsequently made known to him undeservedly.
(2) A cultural worker to whom an honorary title has been withdrawn is obliged to return the deed of title and badge to the Ministry of Culture.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
