Government Regulation
of 8 November 1949
defining the concept of common equity for certain types of national undertakings.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to Article I, paragraph 2 of the Act of 15 June 1949, No 161 Coll., on the modification of certain financial ratios of other national undertakings:
(1) For the national undertakings designated in Article I of Act No 161 / 1949 Coll., common equity is determined by the following factors:
(a) for undertakings whose activities relate to the purchase and sale of goods, the balance sheet value of capital goods plus the value of part of the normal stock of goods in the undertaking, as determined in accordance with the Directives referred to in paragraph 2;
(b) for undertakings whose activity is in the provision of services and the supply of performance, the balance sheet value of capital goods.
(2) The amount of the common equity of each national enterprise is determined by the Minister for Internal Trade in agreement with the Minister for Finance on a proposal from the national enterprise. The Minister for Internal Trade shall, in agreement with the Minister for Finance, issue directives for drawing up proposals for the treatment of common equity, in particular to determine the way in which a normal stock of goods is established in an undertaking with regard to its planned sales and, as a percentage of the value of the normal stock to be covered by its own stock.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister for Internal Trade in agreement with the Minister for Finance.
