amending Decree No. 197 / 1996 of the Ministry of Justice Coll., which issues the examination rules for bar examinations and recognition examinations (Law examination rules)
The Ministry of Justice provides, after a statement by the Czech Bar Association pursuant to § 52 (1) of Act No. 85 / 1996 Coll., on the Advocate's Office (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"):
Decree No 197 / 1996 Coll., laying down the examination rules for bar examinations and recognition examinations (Law examination rules), is amended as follows:
1. In Article 4 (1), the words "or the second sentence of Article 7 (3) 'shall be inserted after the words" in Article 5 (1) (c)'.
2. In Paragraph 8 (2), the following sentence is inserted after the first sentence: "He has passed an excellent bar test 'but can only be evaluated by a candidate who has been evaluated by a favourable degree" has benefited excellently' in at least three fields. '
3.
A candidate who has not passed the test but has been assessed in at least three fields with the least beneficial degree of "benefit 'shall only perform the re-examination provided for in Article 7 (2) of the Act in the fields in which he was assessed in the previous test with the" benefit degree'. However, the second repeated test shall take place from all disciplines. ';
4. Paragraph 13 (3) reads:
"(3) The duration of the recognition test shall not exceed two hours. The foreign language in which the recognition test can be carried out shall mean English, French or German. ';
2. In Paragraph 14 (1), the part of the sentence behind the semicolon reads: "Part of the application is the choice of the foreign language in which the candidate intends to pass the examination (Paragraph 13 (3)), unless the candidate performs the recognition test in Czech or Slovak."
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
