GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 7 December 1994
increasing the amount of minimum living and foster care benefits
The Government orders pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on the Life Minimum, and § 21 of Act No. 50 / 1973 Coll., on Parental Care, as amended by Act No. 118 / 1992 Coll. (Full version No. 452 / 1992 Coll.):
(1) The amount of the minimum of life that is deemed to be required under the Law on the Minimum of Life (1) to ensure the maintenance and other basic personal needs of the citizen, (2) shall be:
(a) 1230 CZK if the child is under 6 years of age,
(b) CZK 1360 if the child is between 6 and 10 years of age,
(c) 1620 CZK if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
d) 1780 CZK, if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
e) CZK 1680 for other citizens.
(2) The amount of the minimum of living deemed to be required under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the necessary household costs, (3) shall be:
a) 760 CZK, if it is about an individual,
b) 1000 CZK, if two persons live in the household,
c) 1240 CZK if three or four persons live in the household,
d) 1400 CZK, if five or more people live in the household.
(1) The allowance for the reimbursement of the child's needs under the law on foster care (4) shall be per calendar month:
(a) 1230 CZK if the child is under 6 years of age,
(b) CZK 1360 if the child is between 6 and 10 years of age,
(c) 1620 CZK if the child is between 10 and 15 years of age,
(d) CZK 1780 if it is between 15 and 26 years of age.
(2) The remuneration of a foster home belonging to the law on foster care, 5), including in the joint foster care of spouses, amounts to CZK 840 per calendar month for each entrusted child.
The contribution to the child's needs and the remuneration of a foster child in accordance with Article 2 shall be due for the first time in January 1995.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1995.
