DECLARATION
of 3 August 2017
amending Decree No. 306 / 2012 Coll., on conditions for the prevention and spread of infectious diseases and on sanitary requirements for the operation of health care establishments and social care institutions
According to Article 108 (1) of Act No. 258 / 2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts, as amended by Act No. 274 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 274 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 392 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 222 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 110 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 151 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 223 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 267 / 2015 Coll. and Act No. 202 / 2017 Coll., for the implementation of §. 16 (2), § 17 (1) and § 18 (1) Act:
Decree No. 306 / 2012 Coll., on conditions for the prevention and spread of infectious diseases and on health requirements for the operation of health care establishments and social care institutions, is amended as follows:
1. In Section 1 and Annex 3 (c) and (g), the words "hospital diseases' are replaced by the words" health-care-related infections'.

Method of reporting health-related infections
(Paragraph 16 (2) of the Law)
Infections associated with health care shall be reported by telephone, fax or e-mail with an electronic signature. In the event of a danger of delay, the report shall always be made by telephone. ';
3. Paragraph 7 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The beneficiary doctor of a health service provider providing bed care, overnight care or a doctor who assesses the health status of natural persons admitted to weekly residents, homes for disabled persons, homes for elderly people and homes with a special regime (hereinafter referred to as" social care institutes') shall record anamnistic data relevant to the possible emergence of health-related infection, including the identification of a travel and epidemiological history, or carry out appropriate examinations with regard to the overall health status of the natural person. In addition, children shall be examined whether they have undergone the scheduled vaccination or have evidence that they are immune to the disease or that they cannot undergo the vaccination for permanent contraindication. ';
4. In Article 7 (6), the word "disease 'is replaced by" infection'.
5. in Annex 4, Part IV.IX., in the second paragraph, point (a), fourth sentence, the words "without test body" shall be deleted and the words "Annex AHEM No 2 / 1994" shall be replaced by the words "the current Methodology for carrying out the effectiveness check of sterilisation devices published in the AHEM."
This decree shall take effect on the 15th day following its publication.
