on the competence of the police of the Czech Republic and the municipal police to penalise violations of emergency measures and emergency measures ordered in connection with the demonstration of the presence of the Coronavirus SARS CoV-2 in the Czech Republic
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Subject matter
This law regulates the authority of the police of the Czech Republic and the police officer of the municipal police to discuss with the order on the spot selected offences under the Act on the Protection of Public Health and Crisis Act, which penalise the infringement of the obligations imposed by emergency measures and exceptional measures ordered in order to endanger health in connection with the demonstration of the presence of coronavirus known as SARS CoV-2 in the Czech Republic.
Specific provisions on the imposition of a fine by an on-the-spot order
(1) The authority of the Police of the Czech Republic and an officer of the municipal police may, by way of an on-the-spot order, impose a fine for an offence under Section 92n (1) (b) of the Public Health Protection Act if it has been committed by failure to comply with an obligation imposed by an emergency measure issued in connection with the demonstration of the presence of coronavirus known as SARS CoV-2 in the Czech Republic.
(2) The authority of the Police of the Czech Republic and the police officer of the municipal police may, by an on-the-spot order, impose a fine for an offence pursuant to Paragraph 34 (1) (a) of the Crisis Act if he has been committed by breach of the obligation to bear the restrictions resulting from the emergency measure provided for in the context of the demonstration of the presence of Coronavirus known as SARS CoV-2 in the territory of the Czech Republic.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
