GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 10 August 2011
amending Government Regulation No. 484 / 2006 Coll., on the amount of time charges and the toll rates for use of designated infrastructure, as amended
The Government orders pursuant to § 46 (1) of Act No. 13 / 1997 Coll., on Road, as amended by Act No. 80 / 2006 Coll. and Act No. 152 / 2011 Coll.:
Government Decree No. 484 / 2006 Coll., on the amount of time fees and the toll rates for use of designated infrastructure, as amended by Government Decree No. 272 / 2009 Coll., Government Decree No. 404 / 2009 Coll., Government Decree No. 26 / 2010 Coll. and Government Decree No. 415 / 2010 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. In Article 1 and footnote 1, the words "European Communities' are replaced by the words" European Union '.
2. In Article 3, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1, including footnote 4:
"(2) The breakdown of tolls referred to in paragraph 1 (b) shall not apply to vehicles of categories M2 and M34.
4) Annex 18 to Decree No 341 / 2002 Coll., on the approval of technical competence and on the technical conditions of use of vehicles on the road, as amended. '
Paragraph 2 shall become paragraph 3.
3. In Article 3, at the end of paragraph 3, the words "with the exception of toll rates for vehicles of categories M2 and M34), as set out in Annex 3 to this Government Regulation 'are added.
4. In Paragraph 4, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The breakdown of tolls referred to in paragraph 1 (b) shall not apply to vehicles of categories M2 and M34. ';
Paragraph 2 shall become paragraph 3.
5. In Article 4, at the end of the text in paragraph 3, the words "with the exception of toll rates for vehicles of categories M2 and M34) listed in Annex 3 to this Regulation shall be added."
6. The following Annex 3 is added, including the title:
"Annex No. 3 to Government Decree No. 484 / 2006 Coll.
Toll rates for vehicles of categories M2 and M34) for motorways, express roads and first class roads

Transitional provisions
For vehicles of categories M2 and M3 in an electronic toll system that has been equipped with registered electronic equipment before the date of entry into force of this Regulation, the toll rates pursuant to Government Regulation No 484 / 2006 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this Regulation, shall be applied only from the time the vehicles are equipped with registered electronic equipment to which the electronic toll system operator has entered the data necessary to distinguish the category of vehicles. Until that time, the toll rates of the vehicles according to the first sentence shall be those of Government Decree No. 484 / 2006 Coll., as effective by the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 2011.
