GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 July 2023
amending Government Regulation No 481 / 2012 Coll., on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as amended
The Government hereby orders pursuant to Section 22 (1) of Act No. 22 / 1997 Coll., on the technical requirements for products and on the amendment and addition of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 526 / 2020 Coll., ("the Act ') to implement Sections 2 (d) and 12 and 13 of the Act:
Government Decree No. 481 / 2012 Coll., on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as amended by Government Decree No. 391 / 2016 Coll., Government Decree No. 101 / 2018 Coll., Government Decree No. 146 / 2019 Coll., Government Decree No. 121 / 2020 Coll., Government Decree No. 344 / 2020 Coll., Government Decree No. 334 / 2021 Coll., Government Decree No. 120 / 2022 Coll. and Government Decree No. 45 / 2023 Coll., are amended as follows:
1. At the end of footnote 1, the sentence is added to the separate line:
"Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2023 / 171 of 28 October 2022 amending, for the purposes of adapting to scientific and technical progress, Annex III to Directive 2011 / 65 / EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards an exemption for the use of hexavalent chromium as an anti-corrosion agent in gas absorption heat pumps. ';
2. In Annex No 2, the following entry 9 (a) -II is inserted after entry 9 (a) -III:

Efficacy
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 September 2023.
