DECLARATION
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
of 8 September 1993
amending and supplementing the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic No. 354 / 1991 Coll., on secondary schools, as amended by Decree No. 187 / 1992 Coll.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, in agreement with the Ministry of Health pursuant to § 13 (a) and (f) of the Czech National Council Act No. 564 / 1990 Coll., on State Administration and Self-Government in Education, provides:
Decree of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic No. 354 / 1991 Coll., on secondary schools, as amended by Decree No. 187 / 1992 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 9 (2), the following sentence is added at the end: "The pupil's behaviour is not classified in the superstructure and post-graduate studies."
2. In Paragraph 10 (3), the following sentence is added at the end: "The degree of behaviour very good is not required in the study referred to in Part Five and Part Six of this Decree."
3. Article 14 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) Classes shall be filled up to 30 pupils following the admission procedure. The principal of a secondary school may, where justified and taking into account the educational, hygienic and spatial conditions, provide for a higher number of pupils in the classroom, in particular in the event of transfer from another secondary school, changes in the field of study or teaching and repetition of the year, but not more than 33. ';
4. the following paragraph 4 shall be added to Article 14:
"(4) When teaching foreign languages, the class is always divided into groups. The Director of a Secondary School may, when organising theoretical teaching, divide classes into groups in accordance with the curriculum. The number of groups and the number of pupils in the group shall be determined according to the school conditions and the nature of the subject of instruction and in accordance with the requirements for safety and health of pupils. ';
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
