Communication from the Energy Regulatory Authority No 239 / 2022 Coll.

The Energy Regulatory Authority, in accordance with Article 10 (2) of Act No. 526 / 1990 Coll., on Prices, as amended, announces that pursuant to Article 2c of Act No. 265 / 1991 Coll., on the Jurisdiction of the Bodies of the Czech Republic in the Field of Prices, as amended, pursuant to § 17 (6) (d) of the Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms of Business and on the Performance of Government Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (Energy Act No. 6 / 2021), as amended, and under § 1 (3), § 4, 6c, 12, 24, 25a 26 of Act No. 165 / 2012 Coll., on Supported Energy Regulators of 20 July 2022, amending the Price Decision of the Energy Regulatory Authority of 29 July 2021 as amended, and Decree No. 189 / 2022 Coll. the price decision of the Energy Regulatory Authority No 5 / 2022 of 9 August 2022 fixing the prices of the power balance services provided by the transmission system operator on the day-ahead market; This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

In accordance with Article 17 (9) of the Energy Law, the Energy Regulatory Authority published price decision No 4 / 2022 in the Energy Regulatory Journal of 20 July 2022, amounting to 6; price decision No 5 / 2022 in the Energy Regulatory Journal of 9 August 2022, amounting to 7; price decision No 6 / 2022 in the Energy Regulatory Journal of 9 August 2022, amounting to 8; and price decision No 7 / 2022 in the Energy Regulatory Journal of 9 August 2022, amounting to 9. The price decisions became valid on that date of publication. On 20 July 2022, the Commission received comments from interested parties. Decision No 5 / 2022 will become effective on 24 August 2022, Decisions No 6 / 2022 and 7 / 2022 on 1 September 2022.
