DECLARATION
of 4 May 2020
on the issue of the gold coin "Castle Bečov nad Teplou" for 5,000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 26 May 2020, a gold coin "Castle Bečov nad Teplou" is issued under the "Castle" cycle for CZK 5,000 (hereinafter referred to as "coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.9 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed, the tolerance in gold purity is up to 0,01%, the difference in weight up to 0,062 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) On the front of the coin are shown partial motifs from the reliquary of St. Maura in the middle. The upper part of the coin is the composition of heraldic animals from a large state character, in the middle of the Czech lion, on the left is the Moravian eagle and on the right is the Silesian eagle. At the left edge of the coin is the name of the "PLAYS" cycle and at the right lower edge the text "CZECH REPUBLIC." To the right of the motifs from the reliquary of St. Maura is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5 000 CZK." Under the acronym of the money unit "CZK" is placed the brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the compositions of the letters "No" and "M."
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is represented the entire complex of the castle Bečov nad Teplou including baroque castle with garden. At the bottom edge of the coin is the text "HRAD BEČOV NAD TEMPLOU." The year "2020" is located at the left edge of the coin. The initials of the author Luboš Charvat coin, which are made up of linked letters "L" and "Ch", are located at the right edge of the coin.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 26 May 2020.
