of 12 October 1948
on embossing and issuing of silver hundreds in memory of the 30-year duration of the Czechoslovak Republic.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to Section 5, paragraph 2 of the Act of 11 March 1948, No 39 Coll., on the tender of the Czechoslovak currency:
(1) The memory of the 30-year duration of the Czechoslovak Republic is 1.000.000 pieces of the commemorative silver hundred crowns ("commemorative hundred crowns").
(2) The memory hundred crowns are derived from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the commemorative stocron is 14 g. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The coin diameter is 31 mm.
(3) On the face of the commemorative stokorona is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic in the bounded field, around it in one line the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZESKOSLOVENSKI."
(4) On the back of the commemorative stokron is a symbolic figure moving up to the top, lifting the winning battalion with his right hand and holding the laurel branch of the dedicated battalion in his left raised hand. Under the symbolic figure are three semicircles, the symbol of the rainbow, and below it at the lower edge is placed the coin value marking by the number "100." On the left hand side of the circle is the year of the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic "1918," on the right hand side is marked the 30th year of the Republic "1948." Down in the left corner is the name of the original "O. Spaniel."
(5) The edge of the coin is smooth, embossed with six-pointed stars and simple waves; on both sides of the coin is a flat frame.
The National Bank of Czechoslovakia will start issuing the Stocorns at its headquarters in Prague and at its Regional Institute for Slovakia in Bratislava, as well as at all its regional offices on 27 October 1948.
The commemorative hundred-koruna issued pursuant to Paragraph 1 shall be accepted by state and other public funds and monetary institutions without restriction. Otherwise no one is obliged to receive more than 10 pieces of these coins.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; to be carried out by the Minister for Finance.
