DECLARATION
of 22 October 2014
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 25th anniversary of 17 November 1989
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On the 25th anniversary of the events of November 17, 1989, a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as "the two-hundred crown") is issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front of the two-hundred crown is a Czech lion from the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic behind bars, which carries a label with the silhouette of Krivan and the vatra on his chest. Under the picture of the lion are the years "1948 - 1989." There's a five-pointed star above the image of a lion. The denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK" is at the bottom edge of the two hundred koruna. At the left and right edges of the two hundred crown, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC." The word "CZECH" is bounded by dots at the beginning and end. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is at the upper edge of the two-hundred crown.
(2) On the reverse side there is a Czech lion from the state sign of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic between open bars, which carries a label with the sign of the Slovak Republic on its chest. Above the depiction of the lion is the royal crown. At the upper edge of the two hundred crowns the text is "17. November 1989" and at the lower edge the years are "1989 - 2014." Over the years, the author's initials are Jiří Hanuš, who is the letter "H" in the square.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree takes effect on 12 November 2014.
