DECLARATION
of 19 July 2010
on the issue of a commemorative silver two hundred crown for the 700th anniversary of the marriage of John of Luxembourg to Eliška Přemysovna
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 1 September 2010, on the 700th anniversary of the marriage of Jan Luxembourg to Eliška Přemyslovna and the accession of the Luxembourg people to the Czech throne, a commemorative silver two hundred crown (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crown") is issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,35 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *."
§ 2
(1) On the cheek of two hundred crowns is a Czech lion in stylized medieval form in the middle of the coin field in the background of Gothic decoration made of stars and dots. The name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation of the money unit "200 CZK" is written in stylized Gothic letters throughout the district. The name of the state is bounded between the words and the edges by the cross, between the denomination of the coin and the abbreviation of the monetary unit is placed a four-pointed star. The Czech Mint brand consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is placed within the Gothic decoration above the denomination of the coin.
(2) On the back of the two hundred crowns is the stylized form of John of Luxembourg and Eliška of Přemysně at the time of marriage against the background of Gothic decoration in the form of stars and dots. The entire perimeter of the coin is a copy of "JAN LUXEMBOURG WITH ELISH TRANSFER" and the years "1310 - 2010." The individual words of the copy are separated by crosses and four-pointed stars. The mark of the author of the two hundred crown, MgA. Jakub Vlček, is incorporated into the Gothic decoration on the left of the character John of Luxembourg.
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 2010.
