DECLARATION
of 9 September 2019
on the issue of the gold coin "Castle Švihov" for 5,000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 1 October 2019, the Gold Coin "Castle Švihov" is issued as part of the "Castle" cycle for CZK 5,000 ("Coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.9 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed, the tolerance in gold purity is up to 0,01%, the difference in weight up to 0,062 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) On the front of the coin is the upper part of the coin field of the composition of heraldic animals from a large state emblem in the shields. In the middle is a Czech lion, on the left is a Moravian eagle and on the right is a Silesian eagle. Under the composition of heraldic animals, the interior of the Slug Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is depicted and its altar is shown in the foreground. At the left edge of the coin is the text "CZECH" and at the right edge the name of the cycle "PLAYS." Under the altar is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5 000 CZK" and the text "REPUBLIC." The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed to the right of the altar.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is represented a view through a late Gothic portal to the castle courtyard. At the left edge of the coin there is the text "HRAD," at the bottom edge the text "SVIHOV" and at the right edge of the year "2019." The initials of the author of the Luboš Charvat coin, which are composed of the linked letters "L 'and" Ch', are located to the left of the text "SVIHOV '.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 October 2019.
