Ministry of Environment
of 5 October 1999
declaring a national natural monument to the Bozkov Dolomite Cave and laying down its close protection conditions
The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (3) (b) with regard to § 35 (1) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, hereinafter referred to as "the Act":
§ 1
Announcement of the National Natural Monument of the Bozkov Dolomite Cave
(1) A national natural monument of the Bozkov Dolomite Cave and its closer protection conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "National Natural Monument") is announced.
(2) The object of protection is the karst area with the Bozkov dolomite cave complex and all other karst phenomena.
§ 2
Definition of national natural heritage
(1) The national natural landmark is situated in the district of Semily in the cadastral territory of Bozkov on the land parcels No 853, 854, 857, 858, 859 / 1, 859 / 2, 859 / 3, 861 / 2, 865, 866, 867, 868, 869 / 1, 869 / 2, 869 / 3, 870, 872, 905 / 1, 905 / 2, 905 / 3, 905 / 4, 905 / 5, 906, 907 / 1, 907 / 2, 908, 909, 913 / 3, 915 / 1, 915 / 2, 1823 / 1 (part), 1825 / 1, 1826 / 1 (part), 1826 / 3, 1827 (part), 1828 and on the building parks No 404 and 405.
(2) The map base in which the territory of the national natural heritage is drawn is, in addition to the register in the central list of nature protection1) deposited with the Ministry of the Environment, the District Office of Semily and the Municipal Office of Bozkov.
(3) The boundaries of the national natural heritage are listed in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
Closer protection conditions for national natural heritage
(1) In accordance with the provisions of Articles 35 (2) and 44 (2) of the Act, it is provided that only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority (2) may:
(a) to operate for the public the accessible parts of Bozkov caves, 3)
(b) conduct research activities which do not cause changes or damage to the national natural heritage, 4)
(c) to change the type of land, if this does not result from the plan of care (5) for a national natural monument;
(d) to make changes to structures and technical installations in the national natural monument or to their operation or use;
(e) to provide sales or other services outside buildings;
(f) repair the existing travel network;
(g) entering the public of inaccessible caves,
(h) to carry out geological work linked to interference with the land;
(i) carry out mining, training or cultivation work in forests where the forest owner operates without an approved forest economic plan or an approved forest economic curriculum;
j) establish deponities of wood, even temporary.
(2) Where land and buildings need to be expropriated or limited to the rights to be expropriated in order to fulfil the conditions of protection referred to in paragraph 1, special rules shall be followed. 6)
§ 4
Protection zone
The protection zone of the national natural heritage and activities for which the consent of the nature conservation authority is necessary are laid down by law. 7)
§ 5
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on the 30th day following its publication.
