DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 14 September 1997
on the issue of banknotes of CZK 100 model 1997
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 15 October 1997, banknotes of CZK 100 are issued.
(2) Banknotes for 100 CZK of model 1997 differ from banknotes for 100 CZK of model 19931) and from banknotes for 100 CZK of model 19952) by using the used banknote paper, by making a protective serial number, by issuing the banknote and the size of the graphic symbol.
(1) Banknote paper used for printing banknotes of CZK 100 model 1997 is equipped with visible orange protective fibres 6 mm long.
(2) The protective serial number for banknotes of 100 CZK model 1997 is the form of letters "CR" placed in a white circular area in the view against light. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the front face is printed in purple and is placed on the top right of the banknote pattern. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the reverse side is printed in a dark green grey colour and is placed in the upper left part of the banknote pattern.
(3) The issue of the banknote on the front is printed by printing from the area in purple, placed in the lower left part of the printing pattern on the front of the banknote and marked "1997." A purple colour is missing in the underprint under the digits of the year.
(4) The graphic symbol on the reverse side of the banknote is significantly larger than for banknotes of CZK 100.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 October 1997.
