Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that an agreement was negotiated in Prague between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the United States of America on the export of certain textile products from the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic to the United States of America, which was amended and extended in the form of a note exchange.
The Agreement for the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic entered into force on 22 July 1986.
On 28 May 1993 the Memorial Minutes were signed in Prague, confirming the legal succession of the Czech Republic to the rights and obligations of the former Czech and Slovak Federal Republic under the Agreement with effect from 1 January 1993 and extending it until 31 May 1995.
The memoir entered into force on 1 June 1993.
