DECLARATION
of 20 August 2007
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Earth's first artificial satellite
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Earth's first artificial satellite, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued. The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred koruna in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%.
(1) On the face of the 200 crown, the orbit of the Earth's first artificial satellite is on the background of the map of the world. At the top of the 200 crown is the Earth's first artificial satellite, which partially overlaps the orbit path. At the left, upper and right edges of the two hundred crowns, the name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is represented in a negative relief. The denomination marking with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK" is under the plastic display of the amplitude of the sound signal transmitted by the Earth's first artificial satellite. The denomination and abbreviation of the monetary unit are also represented in a negative relief. The mark of the mint which struck the two hundred crown is placed at the top of the two hundred crown between the first and second words of the name of the state.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns is represented the solar system with orbital orbits of planets and in its foreground is the Earth's first artificial satellite. For the entire circumference of two hundred crowns, a copy of "THE FIRST ARRANGEMENTS OF THE COUNTRY 'is a copy. At the lower edge of the two-hundredth crown on the right are the years" 1957 - 2007. "The author of the two-hundred crown design is Luboš Charvát, whose initials, stylized interconnected letters" LCH "are placed between the years and the copy.
This Decree takes effect on 19 September 2007.
