GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 7 October 1998
laying down a provisional safeguard measure for the import of wheat originating in the Republic of Hungary
The Government orders pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 252 / 1997 Coll., on Agriculture:
Goods falling within subheadings 1001 10 00 and 1001 90 99 of the Customs Tariff - Durum wheat and other wheat, other than for sowing, shall be subject to an import duty rate of CZK 2 290 / tonne where the goods originate in the Republic of Hungary.
GOODS ORIGINATING IN THE REPUBLIC OF HUNGARY MEANS GOODS WHICH CONTAINING THE CONDITIONS LAID DOWN IN SPECIAL REGULATION (1) OR INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT (2)
For the period of validity of this Regulation, the rates of duty laid down in a specific regulation (3) or international contract (2) shall not apply to the goods defined in Paragraph 1 and under the conditions defined therein.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 26 April 1999.
