DECLARATION
of 24 July 2024
amending Decree No. 247 / 2001 Coll., on the organisation and operation of fire protection units, as amended
The Ministry of Interior provides pursuant to § 101 (a) of Act No. 133 / 1985 Coll., on Fire Protection, as amended by Act No. 237 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2015 Coll., Act No. 229 / 2016 Coll. and Act No. 415 / 2021 Coll., ("the Act ') for implementation of § 65 (8) (d) of the Act:
Annex 3 to Decree No. 247 / 2001 Coll., on the organisation and operation of fire protection units, as amended by Decree No. 226 / 2005 Coll., Decree No. 200 / 2012 Coll. and Decree No. 118 / 2019 Coll., reads:

Rules governing the adjustment of the basic and minimum number of shift officers of the fire brigade
The basic number of members in one shift at the fire department station of the region listed in the table is increased
(a) in the case of a station which is predestined for a system of rescue work in road accidents on motorways, express roads and selected first class roads, by two members in exchange;
(b) in the case of a station which is intended as a support for the disposal of accidents involving dangerous substances by three members in exchange;
(c) up to one-and-a-half times, if justified by documentation of fire fighting of objects whose protection against fires and incidents is ensured by the unit, or by operational management needs, or by the special fire technology operator's needs.
The minimum number of members in a single shift for exit at a C2 station may be increased by one member in the shift if more than 10% of buildings with more than 5 above-ground floors, a large production or storage area, or any other reason for which intervention is conditional on the dispatch of special equipment, are subject to the minimum number of persons in a single shift.
One of the stations of the type shall always be set up in one district department of the fire department of the region and the seat of the fire department of the region with regard to area coverage and for the creation of an appropriate basis for the activities of specialised services:
C1 - a station where the fire brigade unit of the region ensures at least the exit of two teams with reduced numbers and one group,
C2 - a station where the fire brigade unit of the region ensures at least the exit of two teams with reduced numbers and two groups; or
C3 - a station where the fire brigade unit of the region ensures at least the exit of three teams with reduced numbers and two groups,
and in view of the area coverage and fire hazards of the cadastral areas of the municipalities in the county, stations of type P are established:
P0 - the station where the fire department unit of the county was formed by the association of municipal resources and the fire department of the county according to § 69a of the Fire Protection Act,
P1 - station where the fire brigade unit of the county ensures at least the exit of one team of reduced numbers,
P2 - a station where the unit ensures the exit of at least one team of reduced numbers and one group,
P3 - a station where the fire brigade unit of the region ensures at least the exit of one team of reduced numbers and two groups,
P4 - a station where the fire brigade unit of the district ensures at least the exit of two teams with reduced numbers and one group. "
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2025.
