amending and supplementing the Federal Bureau of Standardisation and Measurement Decree No. 69 / 1991 Coll., implementing the Metrology Act
Ministry of Economy according to § 27 of Act No. 505 / 1990 Coll., on Metrology, provides:
Decree of the Federal Office for Standardisation and Measurement No. 69 / 1991 Coll., implementing the Metrology Act, is amended as follows:
1.
"(6) The official mark of the measuring instrument type-approval shall consist of the letters" TCM "followed by the number code of the measurement, slash and last two digits of the year of approval. ';
2. Article 3 (6) reads as follows:
"(6) The official mark of the meter verification is the letters" CM "assigned to the Czech Metrology Institute and the letter" K "assigned to the state metrology centres. The legal importance of both brands is equivalent. The marks shall be supplemented by the code of the metrological authority which carried out the verification, allocated by the Office and, for measuring instruments intended for re-verification, by the last two digits of the year of verification. ';
3. If this decree uses the name of the Federal Bureau of Standardisation and Measurement, this means the Office of Technical Standardisation, Metrology and State Testing.
4. If this decree uses the name of the Czechoslovak Metrology Institute or the name of the State Metrology Inspectorate, this is the Czech Metrology Institute.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
