Central management of connections and Ministry of Interior
of 31 March 1966
on the definition and possession of the concept of radio broadcasting stations
The central management of the connections and the Ministry of the Interior provides, pursuant to § 5 paragraph 4 and § 22 of Act No. 110 / 1964 Coll., on Telecommunications:
Transmission radio stations
Transmission radio stations are telecommunications equipment for the transport of messages, data, images and signals on the principle of electromagnetic wave radiation of frequencies exceeding 10 kHz.
Authorisation to hold radio broadcasting stations
(1) The issuing of a permit for the possession of radio broadcasting stations shall be entrusted to the organization of connections authorised to authorise the establishment and operation of the relevant type of broadcasting stations pursuant to Article 3 (1) of Decree No. 111 / 1964 Coll., implementing the Telecommunications Act. This mandate does not apply to broadcasting radio stations of amateur [§ 5 (1) (c) of the Act], the possession of which is permitted by the Ministry of Interior.
(2) The storage permit shall also be required for radio broadcasting stations which, after simple modification, in particular when the missing or defective components have been repaired, would be able to operate. In doubt, the station owner shall request the decision of the authorising authority concerned.
(3) Possession permits are not required for broadcasters listed as backup in the permit for the establishment and operation of radio broadcasting stations.
Transitional provisions
(1) The authorisations for the possession of radio broadcasting stations issued by the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to Decree No. 324 / 1953 of the Ú.l. on the possession of radio transmission stations (No. 369 / 1953 of the Ú.v.) and pursuant to Section 5 (4) of the Act remain valid for the period stated therein.
(2) The renewal of such authorisations and, where appropriate, the issue of a new authorisation for possession shall be decided by the authority competent under this Order.
Final provisions
(1) Decree No 54 / 1951 of the Ú.l. I. on the definition of the concept of broadcasting radio station (No 135 / 1951 Ú. v.) and Decree No 324 / 1953 Ú. l., on the possession of broadcasting radio stations (No 369 / 1953 Ú.) is hereby repealed.
(2) This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 1966.
