Law on business funds of workers

on the business funds of the workers.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
Employers' material interest in fulfilling and overstepping the company's tasks, developing socialist competition and increasing the participation of workers in the management of the enterprise in a spirit of unity of the interests of workers, businesses and the entire national economy are workers' funds.
(1) Employees' funds may be set up in national enterprises and other economic organisations of the State Socialist sector, including, where appropriate, in their respective departments (hereinafter referred to as "enterprises").
(2) Business funds of workers, in particular their resources and their management, are regulated by the Government, taking into account the results of the activities of undertakings which are of decisive importance for the development of the national economy and the specificities of the various economic sectors.
(3) More detailed arrangements for the farm funds of workers are laid down by the relevant ministers in agreement with the central committee of the relevant trade union and with the Minister of Finance.
(1) All regulations shall be repealed if they regulate the management funds in the economic organisations of the State Socialist sector; in particular:
1. Government Decree No. 27 / 1953 Coll., on Directors' Funds in National and Municipal Industrial Enterprises;
2. Government Regulation No. 28 / 1953 Coll., on Directors' Funds in National Construction and Installation Enterprises and in Municipal Construction Enterprises;
3rd Government Decree No. 29 / 1953 Coll., on Railway Directors' Funds;
4. Government Decree No. 113 / 1953 Coll., on Directors' Funds in Economic Organisations of Transport;
5. Government Decree No. 34 / 1955 Coll., on Directors' Funds in State Trade Enterprises, Other Corporate Sales, Commercial and Supply Organisations, and Tourism and Tourism Enterprises.
This Law shall take effect on 1 January 1957; it shall be carried out by all members of the Government.
