DECLARATION

fixing the amount of money necessary to cover the costs of the stay of a stranger in the Czech Republic and for his travel
The Ministry of Interior provides pursuant to Section 34a of Act No. 123 / 1992 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, as amended by Act No. 190 / 1994 Coll.:
(1) The amount of money to cover the necessary costs for one day of stay of a stranger in the Czech Republic is set at CZK 1 000.
(2) For foreigners under 12 years of age, the amount of money referred to in paragraph 1 shall be CZK 500.
The amounts referred to in § 1 may be presented by a stranger in Czech currency or in foreign freely convertible currency.
The Order of the Ministry of Interior No. 121 / 1995 Coll., setting the amount of money necessary to cover the costs of the stay of a stranger in the Czech Republic and of his travel, as amended by Decree No. 199 / 1995 Coll.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
