DECLARATION

fixing the amount of the flat-rate amount of additional control costs, the costs incurred in verifying compliance with the specifications and the costs incurred by the competent authorities in connection with the entry or import of food and raw materials from third countries (Ordinance on flat-rate costs)
The Ministry of Agriculture shall determine, pursuant to Article 18 (1) (p) of Act No. 110 / 1997 Coll., on Food and Tobacco Products and on the amendment and addition of certain related laws, as amended by Act No. 120 / 2008 Coll., pursuant to § 16 (8) of Act No. 91 / 1996 Coll., on Feed, as amended by Act No. 214 / 2007 Coll., and under Article 75 (4) of Act No. 166 / 1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Veterinary Act), as amended by Act No. 182 / 2008 Coll.:
Subject matter
This decree regulates the amount of the lump sum of costs following the directly applicable European Union1 provisions.
(a) the additional checks referred to in Article 79 (2) (c) of Regulation (EU) 2017 / 625 of the European Parliament and of the Council;
(b) incurred in verifying compliance with specifications implemented in accordance with the provisions directly applicable in the European Union concerning the protection of geographical indications, designations of origin and traditional specialities guaranteed;
(c) incurred by the competent authorities in connection with the entry or import of food and raw materials from third countries.
Amount of the lump sum
The amount of the flat-rate amount is CZK 500 per inspector for each hour of work in accordance with Section 1.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 July 2008.
