Law on one-off exceptional pension benefits from social insurance for 1947

on one-off exceptional allowances for social security pensions for 1947.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
§ 1.
(1) The following single allowances shall be granted for the pensions of disabled and old-age, pensionable private employees, mining pension and commission insurance to which he is entitled in December 1947 for 1947:
k důchodu invalidnímu a starobnímu Kčs 1.200.–,
k důchodu vdovskému a vdoveckému Kčs 1.000.–,
k důchodu sirotčímu, rodičů a jiných pozůstalých Kčs 700.–,
k přídavku na děti (vychovávacímu příplatku)Kčs 300.–.
The allowance shall not be granted for the old-age remuneration of the commission insurance.
(2) The allowance referred to in paragraph 1 shall be increased for the helpless in the ratio in which the helplessness pension is increased.
(3) Where the beneficiary enjoys several pensions referred to in paragraph 1, only the highest allowance shall be granted. The allowance under this Act does not belong to the beneficiaries of retirement or provision salaries from public funds, but would be higher than the equivalent allowance granted to them by public funds; Furthermore, it is not for employed pensioners to be entitled to a full Christmas allowance in 1947.
§ 2.
(1) The following lump sums shall be granted for the year 1947 in respect of the accident insurance pensions to which he is entitled in December 1947:
a) k důchodu zraněného se ztrátou schopnosti k výdělku 100%Kčs 1.200.-,
b) k důchodu zraněného s menší ztrátou schopnosti k výdělku, nejméně však se ztrátou schopnosti 50%, poměrná část
částky Kčs 1.200.-, která odpovídá míře zmenšení schopnosti k výdělku,
c) k důchodu vdovskému a vdoveckému Kčs 1.000.-,
d) k důchodům ostatních oprávněných osob Kčs 700.-.
(2) The allowance for the injured person's pension, which is entitled to an increase in the pension (care allowance) for helplessness under the relevant rules, shall be increased by half.
(3) The allowance shall not be granted to persons who are entitled to a one-off pension allowance as referred to in Article 1, and to beneficiaries of retirement or provision allowances from public funds, except that the allowance under this Act would be higher than the equivalent allowance granted to them by public funds for these payments, as well as employed pensioners, if they are entitled to a full Christmas allowance in 1947. If the beneficiary receives several insurance pensions, only the highest allowance shall be granted.
§ 3.
No allowance shall be granted for pensions paid abroad.
§ 4.
The insured person shall be entitled, by improper means, to deduct from his current pension or other benefits to which the same beneficiary is entitled.
§ 5.
The allowances under this Act are exempt from payroll tax.
§ 6.
The costs associated with the payment of allowances under this Act shall be borne by the insurance holders.
§ 7.
This Law shall take effect on 1 December 1947; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Social Welfare.
