on the issue of banknotes after 2000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
On 1 October 1996, banknotes of CZK 2000 model 1996 (hereinafter referred to as "the banknote") are issued for circulation.
§ 2
(1) The banknote is 74 mm wide and 164 mm long. The tolerance allowed in its width and length is ± 1,5 mm. The banknote is printed on a naturally coloured paper with a local tiered watermark and a protective window strip.
(2) The tiered watermark is placed on the 45 mm wide, unprinted edge of the banknote (hereinafter referred to as the coupon) and consists of a portrait of Emma Destiny.
(3) A protective 1,4 mm width window strip is embedded in paper in a perpendicular direction to the long side of the banknote throughout its width, at a distance of 92 mm from the left edge of the banknote with a 6 mm shift tolerance. On the front side of the banknote, there is always 5 mm on the surface of the paper a silver stripe of 5 mm long, on which the negative microtext "2000 CZK" is readable from the bottom up.
(4) The banknote shall bear a protective serial number in the form of the letter "C" in which the letter "S" is inserted. Its upper part printed in purple is visible on the front of the banknote in the left upper part of the print pattern, the lower part printed also in the purple color on the reverse side of the banknote in the right upper part of the print pattern. The entire brand is visible from both sides of the banknote in the view against the light. When viewed from the reverse side of the banknote, the protective contour mark is sideways inverted.
§ 3
(1) On the face of the banknote is a portrait of Emma Destiny in the right part of the print pattern. It is printed by printing from deep grey green. The name "EMA DISTIN" is placed in two rows above the right arm of the portrait. It is also printed by printing from deep green grey. On the shoulder of the portrait is an ornament of the decorative scarf forming part of the garment placed area for a hidden pattern which, at a certain angle of light impact, creates a dark or bright number "2000," printed mainly in olive green. A continuous belt of green-grey colour exceeding 5 mm wide unprinted edges leads from the portrait to the right in parallel with the longer sides. The number "2000" is negative on the belt from top to bottom. Both above and below is lined with ornamental decoration, reminiscent of feather decoration. The contours of the ornamental decoration are printed in green and grey, its area in purple. The belt, number and ornamental decor are printed by printing from the surface. In the top right corner of the banknote there is a tactile mark for blind and weak-sighted. The marker consists of two horizontal strips with sides 1 x 8 mm, which are 5 mm apart. The tactile mark is printed by printing from depth in dark grey green. At the bottom edge of the banknote on the left is printed with a print from the depth in the color of the green and grey name of the author of the design "O. KULHÁNEK INV.," right in the colour of the olive green name of the author of the engraving transcription of the portrait "M. ONDRÁEK SC."
(2) In the left part of the print pattern there is a text in two rows indicating the denomination of the banknote "DVA TISIS KORUN ČESKY," below which the name of the Emission Bank "CZECH NATIONAL BANK" is given in two rows. Under the name of the Emission Bank, the designation of the Emission Bank Representative is the word "GUVERNER 'and the facsimile of its signature. This year's issue of the" 1996 "banknote is placed to the right of the coupon under the protective serial number. All of the above texts are printed by printing from depth in dark grey green. In the background of the texts are depicted in the color of grey green, the laurel smashes on which the stylized lyre is laid. The contours of the lyre are printed in grey green, its area in light purple. Lyre strings are printed in an optically variable colour, which varies from gold to green depending on the angle of light impact. The underprint of the front of the banknote consists of a small raster in combination with the colour of green, purple and ochre.
(3) The upper part of the coupon is printed by printing from the depth of the large significant number "2000" indicating the denomination of the banknote. The area of the digits is filled with a small grid in olive green, which in the lower part passes into grey green.
§ 4
(1) On the back of the banknote, the main motif in the combination of olive green, green grey and purple colour is printed a representation symbolizing music. In the upper part of the print pattern is placed the head of the Moose of Music and Lyrica Euterpé, walled with memories and fruits of laurel. Two string musical instruments, violin and cello are placed under the head of the Muse, which is also decorated with a laurel moss at the bottom. Despite these images, the large letter "D" stylized in the form of a string musical instrument resembling lyre is tilted. From the bottom right of the letter "D ', a significant plant ornamental decoration runs towards the right, on which, parallel to the longer sides of the banknote, a denser belt of olive-green colour is placed on the right, passing into the green-grey colour. There is a large national emblem of the Czech Republic printed in olive green. The underprint in the combination of olive green and purple colours consists of a small raster creating ornamental décor resembling stylized ribbons. In the lower left corner of the print pattern the number" 2000 "is printed, its contours are olive green. At the same time as the bottom of the banknote, the inscription" FAILURE BANKNOTES ARE TREATED UNDER THE LAW' is placed to the right of the number "2000 '. The color of the inscription is green and grey. At the lower edge of the banknote, the inscription" © CZECH NATIONAL BANK "(left)," STATE PRESCRIBILITY CENIN, PRAHA "(middle) and the name of the author of the engraving transcription of the main motif of the reverse side" M. ONDRÁČEK SC. "All displayed images and texts are printed by printing from the surface.
(2) The denomination of the series of banknotes in one capital letter of the alphabet and the two-digit number and the six-digit serial number of the banknote shall be printed in a horizontal direction lower right under the national emblem of the Czech Republic and in a vertical direction up in half the shorter side of the banknote at the unprinted edge on the left. Both series descriptions and banknote serial numbers are printed from a height in black. The numbers of the horizontally situated serial number of the banknote are increased from left to right.
(3) The upper part of the coupon is printed by printing from the olive green area with a large "2000" number indicating the denomination of the banknote. The area of the digits is filled in with a small grid printed in a light purple colour, in the lower part olive green. In the lower part of the coupon, a stylised lyre is printed in dark green.
§ 5
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 1996.
