of 11 December 1946
on the provisional application of the Agreement on the stuffing of South Slavic wines.
With the agreement of the President of the Republic, the attached Agreement, negotiated on 15 November 1946 between the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Czechoslovakia and the Ambassador of the Federal People's Republic of South-Slavia in Prague on the filing of South Slavic wines ex-tariff number 109 of the Czechoslovak Customs Tariff, is entered into force in accordance with Article VII of the Act of 22 June 1926, No 109 Coll., with effect from 15 December 1946.

Mr. Ambassador,
Fits wishes I have the honour to inform you that the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic, in order to extend economic relations between the two of our countries, is willing to admit to South Slavic wines the following customs regime:
Wines ex-tariff No 109 of the Czechoslovak Customs Tariff, originating in the Federal People's Republic of South-Slavia, originating in the People's Republics of Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, accompanied by a certificate of origin issued by the South-Slavic Office for this purpose, shall not be subject to customs duties higher than those applicable to imports into the Czechoslovak Republic:

Shipments of South Slavic wines must be accompanied not only by a certificate of origin but also by an analysis finding when imported into the Czechoslovak Republic.
The certificates of origin will be issued by the "Prestavništva Ministarstva spoljne trgovine 'in the People's Republics mentioned above on the basis of the confirmation of the agricultural departments of the circular or regional National Committees from which the wine originates and the findings on the analysis of the oenological, research and control station and other chemical laboratories designated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The South Slavic Government will communicate to the Czechoslovak Government a list of these stations and laboratories.
The findings of the analysis will in particular be contained:
specific weight,
alcohol grade;
the content of all acids,
volatile acid content,
the extract content,
sugar content,
a sugar-free extract content,
ash (mineral) content.
The analysis shall indicate that the analysis relates to the same wine consignment for which the relevant certificate has been issued.
This regulation shall be subject to approval in the Czechoslovak Republic under the relevant provisions of its legislation and shall enter into force on the date of notification to the South Slavic Government of its approval. However, the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic is willing to introduce it in provisional effect on 15 December 1946.
The duration of this arrangement is the same as the trade and navigation contract of 14 November 1928, the fate of which it shares.

I would like to inform you that I received your letter No 215.207 / IV-2 / 46 of 15 November 1946 as follows:
"Ambassador,
