Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 25 October 1946
on the partial release of exports of gifts in kind and of the uppers moved.
According to Article 14 (3) of the Act of 11 April 1946, No 92 Coll., on Bound Foreign Exchange Economy (Foreign Exchange Act), I will establish in agreement with the National Bank of Czechoslovakia:
Without the permission of the Ministry of Finance (in Slovakia, the delegation of funds) or the financial authorities designated by it may be exported:
1. cases brought with them by travellers in the course of travel, by operators of public transport undertakings, by shipowners and by airmen for their own use or for the pursuit of their profession, provided that they are proportionate to the proportion of such persons;
3. matters serving in border traffic the pursuit of employment or satisfying the daily needs of border residents.
In addition, without the permission of the Ministry of Finance (in Slovakia, the delegation of funds) or the financial authorities designated by it may be exported:
1. gifts in kind, orders, honours, honorary prizes, etc., dedicated or awarded abroad by Czechoslovak public officials or Czechoslovak authorities.
Other provisions relating to the export of articles released in accordance with Article 1 and Article 2 for exit abroad bound by a special authorisation shall remain unaffected.
The negotiations and omissions of the provisions of this Order shall be prosecuted under Section IV of the Foreign Exchange Act.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
