DECLARATION
of 3 October 2018
on the issue of a commemorative gold coin for CZK 10,000 to the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 23 October 2018 a commemorative gold coin is issued for the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia (hereinafter "coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 31,107 g, 34 mm diameter and 2,6 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
§ 2
(1) On the front of the coin is represented by a surface with lime. The crown of the lime tree is covered by shields with heraldic animals from a large state emblem. In the middle is a Czech lion, on the left is a Moravian eagle and on the right is a Silesian eagle. Inside the design there is an indication of the nominal value of the coin with the abbreviation "10 000 CZK." The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in a two-line pearl in a copy of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is on the right edge of the coin after the word "CZECH."
(2) On the reverse side of the coin there is a large emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic on the top of the coin field. There are facsimile signatures of Edvard Beneš, T. G. Masaryk and M. R. Štefánik. The lower part of the coin field is represented by a top with a lime plant. The designs include "1918" and "2018." On the perimeter of the coin is the text "ZUK CZESKOSLOVENSKA" placed in a two-line pearl. Behind the word "VIK" are the initials of the author of the coin of the academic painter Vladimir Pavlici, which are composed of compositions of letters "V" and "P."
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 23 October 2018.
