GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 14 July 2009
on the introduction of the visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and service passports of Canada and amending Government Regulation No. 272 / 2004 Coll., on the unilateral visa waiver in relation to Australia, Canada, the Sultanate of Brunei and the United States of America
The Government mandates pursuant to § 181 (a) of Act No. 326 / 1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 428 / 2005 Coll., and to the extent provided by the directly applicable regulation of the European Community1):
Amendment of the Government Regulation on the unilateral visa waiver in relation to Australia, Canada, the Sultanate of Brunei and the United States of America
In Article 1 (2) of Decree No. 272 / 2004 Coll., on the unilateral visa waiver in relation to Australia, Canada, the Sultanate of Brunei and the United States of America, the words "diplomatic, service and 'are deleted.
EFFECTIVE
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.

1) Article 4 (1) (a) of Council Regulation (EC) No 539 / 2001 of 15 March 2001 listing the third countries whose nationals must be in possession of visas when crossing the external borders and those whose nationals are exempt from that requirement, as amended by Council Regulation (EC) No 851 / 2005.
