DECLARATION
of 3 October 2018
on the issue of a commemorative silver 500 crown for the 100th anniversary of the Washington Declaration
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 17 October 2018, the 100th anniversary of the Washington Declaration is issued a commemorative silver coin of 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as the "500 koruna").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) The five hundred korona in normal design and special design are rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the five hundred crown is 25 g, its diameter is 40 mm and its strength is 2,90 mm. In the case of embossing of five hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass the tolerance is up to 0,50 g and in silver content the tolerance is up to 1%. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 25 g *."
(1) On the front of the five-hundred crown, a heraldic figure of a Czech lion carrying a heart tag depicting the sign of Slovakia is depicted on the outline of the Washington Declaration. On the left, on the bottom and on the right of the outline of the list is the text "ZDAR, ZDAR, ZDAR, DAR OF OUR AUDIENCE CZECHOSLOVACKS!." After the circumference of the five hundred koruna is a copy of the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "500 CZK" and the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" separated by a dot. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed at the top of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the five-hundred crown, the silhouette of the Washington Capitol building is shown in the foreground, under which there is a charter with free styling of part of the Washington Declaration and on behalf of "TOMÉ GARRIGUE MASARYK." On the left of the document is the name "M.R.ŠTEFANIK 'and on the right is" E.BENESH'. The Charter overlaps the flag of Czechoslovakia, the letter "V" is placed in its lap. On the perimeter of the coin is a closed copy of the text "WASHINGTON DECLARATION 1918-2018." At the bottom edge of the coin is placed the author's initials MgA. Jakub Orava, which is the letter "O" in the frame.
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 17 October 2018.
