GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 10 July 2017
concerning certain conditions for issuing and extending a long-term residence permit for the purpose of investment
The Government orders pursuant to Section 181a of Act No. 326 / 1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 222 / 2017 Coll., ("the Act '):
For the purposes of issuing and extending long-term residence permits for the purpose of investing pursuant to § 42n of the Act
a) is a significant investment in such an investment where at least CZK 75 000 000 is invested in the territory of the Czech Republic and where at the same time at least 20 new jobs are created in the territory of the Czech Republic;
(b) the investment of funds of the amount referred to in (a) may be replaced in a part corresponding to not more than 60% by the investment of other assets referred to in § 42n (1) (b) of the Act;
(c) has a significant influence on the business of a commercial corporation, the activity of an outsider who is a statutory authority, a member of a statutory body or a procuring commercial corporation in which the number of all such persons does not exceed a total of 5;
(d) a foreigner who applies for a long-term residence permit to be issued or extended for the purpose of investing as a member of a commercial corporation shall have at least 30% of that corporation.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 15th day following its publication.
