The Bureau of the Czech National Council has acted pursuant to Article 121 (3) of Constitutional Act No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, on the following legal measure:
Act No. 54 / 1990 Coll., on Elections to the Czech National Council, is amended as follows:
Article 23 (4) reads as follows:
"(4) Where elections take place in two days, the beginning of the elections shall be fixed at fourteenth hour and the end of the elections at twenty-second hour of the first day. The next day, the election starts at seven o'clock and ends at fourteen o'clock. Where local circumstances so require, the Board of the Local National Committee may determine the beginning of the elections for an earlier hour, but first at the 12th hour of the first day and the fifth hour of the second day; the time limits set out in the provisions of Sections 21 and 27 shall also be calculated from the 14th hour of the first day of the election. ';
2. Paragraph 29 (3), first sentence, reads: "A voter who has arrived in an election room with an electoral card and resides in the Czech Republic shall enter the district election committee on the electoral list and shall indicate on his ID card or military card that he has come to the vote."
This legal measure shall take effect on the date of its publication.
