of 2 July 2024
on the total number of electricity customers and the total amount of gas consumed in the Czech Republic in 2023
The Energy Regulatory Authority, in accordance with Article 17d (5) of Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Performance of Government Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (Energy Act), as amended, publishes, for the purpose of determining the annual amount of the special charge for the activity of the Energy Regulatory Authority, according to the data submitted by system operators to the market operator in the Czech Republic, the total number of demand points of electricity customers and gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2023.
1. The total number of electricity customers' collection points at 31 December 2023 was 6 325 318.
2. The total gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2023 was 73 610 304,238 MWh.
