THE LAW
of 26 March 1985
amending and supplementing Sections 92 and 105 of the Labour Code
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Labour Code No. 65 / 1965 Coll., as amended by Act No. 88 / 1968 Coll., on the extension of maternity leave, on maternity benefits and on the allowance for children from sickness insurance, Act No. 153 / 1969 Coll., amending and supplementing the Labour Code, Act No. 20 / 1975 Coll., amending and supplementing certain other provisions of the Labour Code, Act No. 72 / 1982 Coll., amending and supplementing Section 105 of the Labour Code, and Act No. 111 / 1984 Coll., on the extension of the basic period of leave to recovery and supplementing Section 5 of the Labour Code are amended as follows:
1. the following point (c) shall be added to Article 92 (3):
"(c) in which cases and under what conditions workers whose working hours are allocated by way of derogation under Paragraph 85 (1) may be granted continuous rest in a week once every two weeks."
Article 105 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, in agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions, determines under which conditions and in what length they are entitled to special supplementary leave
(a) workers with a permanent place of work under the ground in the mining of minerals, if they work the shifts provided for in the mining regime for Saturday, and under what conditions they may take this leave until the end of the next calendar year;
(b) workers working on construction projects under particularly difficult working conditions and separation from families. "
The Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, in agreement with the Central Council of Trade Unions, may provide that special additional leave under Paragraph 105 (3) (b) shall be granted for the first time for 1985.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
