GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 23 July 1996
increasing life-minima
The Government orders pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 463 / 1991 Coll., on Life Minimal, as amended by Act No. 118 / 1995 Coll.:
The amount of the minimum of life that is considered necessary under the Life Minimum Act (1) to ensure the nutrition and other basic personal needs of the citizen, (2) is monthly
(a) CZK 1,410 if the child is under 6 years of age,
b) CZK 1,560 if it is for a child from 6 to 10 years of age,
(c) CZK 1,850 for a child aged between 10 and 15;
(d) CZK 2,030 if the child is not provided from 15 to 26 years of age,
(e) CZK 1,920 for other citizens.
The amount of the minimum of life that is deemed to be required under the Life Minimum Act (1) shall be:
(a) CZK 970, if it is an individual,
b) CZK 1,270, if two people live in the household,
(c) CZK 1,570 if three or four persons live in the household,
(d) CZK 1,770 if five or more people live in the household.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 October 1996.
