on the establishment of qualification assumptions for the professional classification of professional soldiers
According to § 3 (2) (b) of Act No. 221 / 1999 Coll., on professional soldiers, as amended by Act No. 254 / 2002 Coll.:
Qualification assumptions
(1) The qualification requirement is education1) provided for the performance of the service in the relevant service classification.
(2) For the performance of the service in the relevant seniority classification, the following minimum level of education shall be determined in the evaluation body:
(a) the team - secondary education with a certificate,
b) Petty officers - secondary education with a certificate,
(c) Ensign - secondary education with a graduate exam,
(d) junior officers - university education in the Bachelor's study programme;
(e) senior officers - university education in the Master's study programme;
(f) generals - higher education in the Master's study programme.
(3) The provisions of paragraph 2 (d) and (e) shall not apply to soldiers assigned to military music in places in the organisation system. For inclusion in this system, the minimum level of education achieved in the higher-level unit shall be determined by lower-level officers and senior officers - higher-level vocational training in the conservatory.
Transitional provision
For the performance of the service in the relevant service classification, the qualification conditions laid down in Decree No. 221 / 2007 Coll., which sets out the qualification conditions for the classification of professional soldiers shall be considered to be specified, but for a maximum period of 4 years from the date of entry into force of this decree.
Repeal
Decree No. 221 / 2007 Coll., laying down the qualification conditions for the classification of professional soldiers, is hereby repealed.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2011.
