THE LAW
of 18 July 2007
amending Act No 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 383 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 112 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 158 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 161 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 165 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 179 / 2006 Coll. and Act No. 342 / 2006 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 185 (8), the words "before 1 September 2007 'are replaced by the words" before 1 September 2009';
2. In Paragraph 185, the following paragraph 9 is inserted after paragraph 8:
"(9) The optional examination referred to in § 78 (1), (3) and (4) shall be held for the first time in the calendar year 2012 by the pupil who is to complete the secondary education by the graduate examination in the school year 2011 / 2012 and by the pupil who was to complete the secondary education by the graduate examination in the school year 2009 / 2010 and 2010 / 2011 for the first time if the joint part of the secondary examination is to be held in the calendar year 2012. '
Paragraphs 9 to 24 shall be renumbered paragraphs 10 to 25.
3. In Article 192, "1 September 2007 'is replaced by" 1 September 2009'.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
