THE LAW
of 20 June 2013
on the granting of a State guarantee from the Czech Republic to secure a loan from the Czech National Bank for the International Monetary Fund
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
§ 1
(1) The Czech Republic provides a state guarantee for two loans granted by the Czech National Bank to the International Monetary Fund in order to strengthen its resources.
(2) The State guarantee referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted on the principal amount of loans of a total amount of EUR 2 530 000 000 and interest linked to the granting of loans under the Loan Agreement between the Czech National Bank and the International Monetary Fund of 31 March 2010 and the Loan Agreement between the Czech National Bank and the International Monetary Fund, provided that both loans are not repaid within a specified period.
(3) The remuneration for granting the State guarantee will not be required.
§ 2
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
