THE LAW
of 8 April 2004
amending Act No. 129 / 2000 Coll., on Counties (Regional Establishment), as amended, Act No. 128 / 2000 Coll., on Municipality (Municipal Establishment), as amended, and Act No. 131 / 2000 Coll., as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Regional Act (Regional Establishment)
Act No. 129 / 2000 Coll., on Counties (Regional Establishment), as amended by Act No. 273 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 450 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 231 / 2002 Coll., the Constitutional Court found published under No. 404 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 229 / 2003 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 5 (1), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
2. In Paragraph 5 (2), the word "battalion 'is replaced by the word" flag'.
3. In Article 5 (3), "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
4. In Article 5, the following paragraph 4 is added:
"(4) Counties and bodies established or established by them and legal persons may use the emblem and flag of the county. Other entities can only use the regional character with its consent. The flag of the county does not need its approval. '
Amendment of the Municipality Act (municipal establishment)
Act No. 128 / 2000 Coll., on municipalities (municipal establishment), as amended by Act No. 273 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 450 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 311 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 313 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 59 / 2003 Coll. and Act No. 22 / 2004 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the title of Part 4, Title I, "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
2. In Paragraph 34a (1), "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
3. In Paragraph 34a (2), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
4. In Paragraph 34a (3), first sentence, the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
5. In Paragraph 34a (3), third sentence, the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flags'.
6. In Paragraph 34a (4), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
7. In Paragraph 142 (1), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
8. In Paragraph 142 (2), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
Amendment to the Prague Capital Act
Act No. 131 / 2000 Coll., on the Capital City of Prague, as amended by Act No. 145 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 273 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 450 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 311 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 312 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 22 / 2004 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In the title above Paragraph 15, the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
2. In Paragraph 15 (1), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
3. In Article 15 (2), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
4. In Paragraph 15 (3), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
5. In Paragraph 15 (4), the word "battalion 'is replaced by" flag'.
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
