DECLARATION
Ministry of Industry and Trade
of 14 June 2001
laying down the details of the labelling of EuPs by energy labelling and the processing of technical documentation, as well as the minimum energy efficiency for electrical appliances placed on the market
The Ministry of Industry and Trade provides pursuant to § 14 (5) of Act No. 406 / 2000 Coll., on Energy Management, ("the Act ') for the implementation of § 6 (3) and § 8 (9) of the Act:
§ 1
Subject matter
This decree sets out the details of the labelling of energy-related appliances which are subject to labelling, hereinafter referred to as "the appliance ', the processing of technical documentation and the minimum efficiency of the use of energy for appliances placed on the market, under Paragraph 8 (1) of the Act.
§ 2
This decree shall apply to the following appliances:
(a) automatic washing machines;
(b) tumble driers,
(c) washing machines combined with a dryer;
(d) refrigerators, freezers and combinations thereof;
(e) dishwashers,
(f) electric ovens,
(g) electric water heaters;
(h) light sources.
§ 3
Processing of technical documentation
(1) The information sheet is part of the technical documentation to be processed for each type of appliance. The information sheet shall supplement and extend the information on the label.
(2) The content of the technical documentation and the information sheet for each type of appliance is set out in Annexes 1 to 8.
(3) The basic data from the technical documentation shall be provided in the information sheet, which shall be supplied with the appliance by the seller and the end user.
§ 4
Labelling
(1) Labels are provided to distributors free of charge.
(2) Where an appliance is presented or displayed, the label shall be placed by the distributor at the place provided for in Article 8 (5) of the Act.
(3) The implementation of the label and its content for each type of appliance is set out in Annexes 1 to 8.
§ 5
Energy efficiency
Appliances referred to in Article 2 (d) may be placed on the market only in energy efficiency classes A, B, C and D as set out in Annex 4, Part V.
§ 6
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

AUTOMATIC WORKS
Preliminary provisions
1. The requirements contained in this Annex shall apply to household washing machines powered from an electric network, except:
- washing machine without centrifugation,
- washing machines without built-in water heating devices,
- washing machine with separate washing and centrifuging containers (such as two containers),
- combined washing machines and dryers.
Washing machines which may also use other energy sources shall not be subject to the requirements of this Annex.
2. The data required by this Annex shall be deemed to be met if they comply with the relevant harmonised technical standards (1). Noise data shall be detected when required by the relevant regulations.
3. The technical documentation referred to in Section 3 (1) of the Decree shall include:
- the name and address of the supplier,
- a general description of the appliance sufficient for its unambiguous identification,
- the data and, where appropriate, relevant drawings concerning the main features of the model design and, in particular, the components which have an appreciable impact on its energy consumption,
- reports of relevant tests carried out by test methods according to harmonised standards,
- operating instructions.
4. The label referred to in Section 4 (3) of the Decree shall comply with the requirements set out in Part I of this Annex. The label shall be placed on the outside of the front or top of the appliance so that it is clearly visible and not covered.
5. The content and presentation of the information sheet referred to in Section 3 (2) of the Decree shall comply with the requirements set out in Part II of this Annex.
6. In the circumstances referred to in Article 4 (2) of the Decree and where an appliance is offered for sale, hire or hire-purchase through printed matter, such as a catalogue of mail order sales, such printed matter shall contain all the information listed in Part III of this Annex.
7. The energy efficiency class of the washing machine, the washing efficiency class and the centrifugation efficiency class indicated on the label and in the information sheet shall correspond to Part IV of this Annex.

Without prejudice to any requirements of the relevant national, regional or international type I environmental labelling programme (ecolabelling programme), a copy of the eco-label may be attached if the appliance has been awarded an eco-label in accordance with the relevant ecolabelling programme. Its design (colour, dimensional, etc.) shall comply with the rules of the relevant ecolabelling programme.
V. Energy consumption in kWh per cycle using a standardised cycle of 60 ° C (cotton) in accordance with test methods according to harmonised standards according to paragraph 2 of the initial provisions of this Annex.
VI. Efficacy of washing provided for in Part IV.
VII. The centrifugation efficiency set out in Part IV.

INFORMATION LIST
The information may be given in the form of a table containing a list of all models supplied by the same supplier, in which case it must be given in the specified order or near the description of the washing machine.
The information sheet shall include the following information:
1. Trade name of supplier.
2. Model identification mark.
3. The energy efficiency class of the model as set out in Part IV, expressed as "Energy efficiency class... on scale A (highest efficiency, i.e. low electricity consumption) to G (lowest efficiency, i.e. high electricity consumption) '. Where this information is given in the form of a table, this information may also be expressed in another way, provided that it is clear that the scale is from A (highest efficiency) to G (lowest efficiency).
4. Where the information is given in the form of a table and one of the appliances listed in the table has been awarded an "Eco-label 'according to the relevant national, regional or international environmental labelling programme type I. (ecolabelling programme), this information may be provided. In this case, the heading of the line shall be" Eco-label' and a copy of the eco-label shall be in the appropriate field in a colour and size version corresponding to the rules of the relevant eco-label programme.
5. Consumption in kWh per cycle for a standardised cycle of 60 ° C (cotton) in accordance with the test methods referred to in point 2 of the initial provisions, described as "XYZ consumption per cycle based on the results of the standardised test for a cycle of 60 ° C (cotton). Actual consumption depends on how the washing machine is used."
6. Washing efficiency determined in accordance with Part IV, expressed as "Washing efficiency class... on a scale from A (highest efficiency, i.e. low electricity consumption) to G (lowest efficiency, i.e. high electricity consumption)." This figure may also be expressed by other means provided that it is clear that the table is from A (higher) to G (lower).
7. The activity of centrifugation in accordance with Part IV, expressed as the "Efficiency class... on a scale from A (higher) to G (lower)." The following declaration:
"Warning: If you use a tumble dryer to dry and select a washing machine with centrifugation efficiency And instead of washing machine with the efficiency of centrifuging G, your cost will be halved. The drying of textiles in a tumble drier usually uses more energy than washing them. '
This declaration may be attached as a footnote.
Where this information is given in the form of a table, it may also be expressed in another way, provided that it is clear that the scale is from A (higher) to G (lower) and that a statement relating to operating costs is included in the table or footnote.
8. Efficiency of water centrifugation in accordance with test methods according to harmonised standards according to point 2 of the initial provisions of this Annex, at a standardised cycle of 60 ° C (cotton). Expressed as "Residual water after centrifugation...% (related to dry weight) '.
9. Maximum centrifugation speed achieved at a standardised cycle of 60 ° C (cotton) in accordance with test methods according to harmonised standards according to paragraph 2 of the initial provisions of this Annex.

13. Suppliers may add to points 6 to 12 information concerning other washing cycles.
14. Average annual energy and water consumption based on 200 standard cycles of 60 ° C (cotton). This consumption is expressed as "Estimated annual consumption (200 standard cycles 60 ° C, cotton) of a four-member household '.
15. Noise in washing and centrifuging cycles, using a standardised cycle of 60 ° C, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Where a copy of the label is included in the information sheet (colour or black and white), only the additional information contained in the information sheet shall be provided.

ALTERNATIVE SALES AND OTHER SPECIES OF EXTENDED SALES
The catalogues for mail order sales and other printed matter referred to in point 6 of the introductory provisions of this Annex shall contain the following information in the following order:
1. Energy efficiency class (Part II, point 3)
2. Energy consumption (Part II, point 5)
3. Efficacy of washing (Part II, point 6)
4. Centrifuge efficiency (Part II, point 7)
5. Maximum centrifugation speed (Part I. point VIII)
6. Washing machine filling (Part I. point IX)
7. Water consumption (Part I. point X)
8. Estimated annual consumption of a four-person household (Part II, point 14)
9. Noise (Part I. point XI)
Where other information contained in the information sheet is provided, it shall be provided in the manner set out in Part II and shall be included in the above table in the order indicated for the information sheet.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY CLASS
1. The energy efficiency class of the washing machine is determined in accordance with Table 1:
