DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 24 August 1995
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 50th anniversary of the United Nations
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth. In the case of two-hundredth stamping in normal and special design, the permitted tolerance shall be up and down on average 0,1 mm and at a thickness of 0,15 mm. The permitted tolerance is up to 0,26 g in weight and 1% in silver.
(1) On the face of two hundred crowns is a large national emblem of the Czech Republic located closer to the left upper edge of the coin. The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy at the right edge of the coin. Under the state emblem on the left is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" in two rows. The mark of the mint that struck the two hundred crown is placed under the state emblem on the right.
(2) On the back of a two-hundred crown comes the main motive of the United Nations character. The round map of the world, which covers the bulk of the coin field, is styled into a radiolator screen with a directional antenna. The years "1945" and "1995" are placed above each other in the upper left part of the radiolabelled screen. The numbers are separated by a horizontal line. At the bottom and right edge of the coin is a non-closed copy of "ORGANISATION OF UNITED COUNTRIES." The author of the design is František Skrobek. The initiale of his surname "S" is placed at the bottom of the coin between the vertical axis of the radio locator and the image of the African continent.
This Decree takes effect on 11 October 1995.
