DECLARATION
of 10 June 2024
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 350th anniversary of the death of Karl Šcreta
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 24 July 2024, the 350th anniversary of the death of Karel Šcreta is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief.
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred crowns are represented St. Barboro, St. Catherine and St. Dorot from the painting of the Holy Family by Karl Skrata. In the upper edge of the coin, the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination marking with the acronym "200 CZK" are in a copy on the perimeter of the coin, separated by the symbol in the form of "ITEK." The brand of the Czech Mint is placed at the lower left edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crowns is a self-portrait of Karel Šcreta. In the copy at the bottom edge of the coin are the texts "KAREL ŠKRÉTA," "1674 ŠKRÉTA 2024" and initials of the author of the coin, academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt, which are composed of compositions of letters "F" and "Z."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree shall take effect on 24 July 2024.
