THE LAW
of 20 June 2013
amending Act No 29 / 2000 Coll., on postal services and amending certain laws (Postal Services Act), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 29 / 2000 Coll., on postal services and amending certain laws (Act on postal services), as amended by Act No. 517 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 225 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 501 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 95 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 413 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 444 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 264 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 110 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 41 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 281 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 285 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 153 / 2010 Coll., Act No. 329 / 2011 Coll., Act No. 89 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 221 / 2012 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Paragraph 3 (2) (a), at the end, the words "through a network of establishments whose minimum number is laid down by the Government on a proposal from the Czech Telecommunications Office (hereinafter referred to as the Office) shall be inserted after the words" the Republic "; the number shall include establishments held by a third party in the name and on behalf of the holder of the postal licence '.
2. In Paragraph 6 (4), the words "the Czech Telecommunications Authority (hereinafter the Office) 'are replaced by the words" the Office'.
3. In Paragraph 34, the following paragraph 10 is added:
"(10) The operator shall indicate the postal consignment lodged with him in such a way as to make it clear from the label which operator the postal consignment was lodged with. ';
4. In Paragraph 34c (6), the heading "10 000 000 'is replaced by" 3 000 000'.
5. in Article 37a (2) (n), the word "or" shall be deleted and in point (o) the dot at the end shall be replaced by "or";
6. in Article 37a (2), the following point (p) is inserted after point (o):
"(p) does not fulfil the obligation under Paragraph 34 (10)."
7. in Article 37a (4) (d), "or (j)" shall be replaced by "(j) or (p)";
8. In Paragraph 41, the current text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) The Government shall issue a regulation implementing Article 3 (2) (a)."
Efficacy
That law shall take effect on the first day of the third calendar month following its publication.
