DECLARATION
of 9 July 2003
laying down the method of external marking and model of service of a military police officer and the colour and marking of means of transport of Military Police
The Ministry of Defence provides pursuant to Section 36a of Act No. 124 / 1992 Coll., on Military Police, as amended by Act No. 39 / 1995 Coll.:
§ 1
External indication of uniform military police officer
(1) The external designation of the military police officer's uniform shall consist of:
(a) a sleeve character, the shape of which is determined by a shield identical to the shield of a large national character, the colour of the shield is blue, the lining of the ribbon is in the colour of the tricolor, the figure in the shield is replaced by the letters "VP" (MILITARY POLICE) of white; the pattern of the sleeve character is shown in Annex 1,
(b) the Military Police badge with an identification number in a metal plastic design, consisting of an oval of blue colour, has a white metal cross-swords in the middle and a four-digit number above it; the upper part is the inscription "MILITARY 'and the lower part is the inscription" POLICE'; the pattern of the badge of the Military Police with the identification number is shown in Annex 2. Military police badge with identification number is visibly placed on the left side of the chest of a military officer.
(2) The external marking of the field uniform of a military officer consists of:
(a) a sleeve cover of black colour on which is affixed the sleeve character - the flag of the State and the letters "VP" of silver; the sleeve pattern is shown in Annex 3,
(b) the yellow colour identification number on a black background visible on the right side of the chest of a military officer; the model identification number is shown in Annex 4.
(3) For the designation of a military officer's professional or field uniform in action:
(a) on a foreign mission, the sleeve of black colour shall be affixed to the sleeve of the sleeve - the national flag and the letters "MP" (MILITARY POLICE) over which the foreign mission emblem is placed; the sleeve pattern is shown in Annex 5,
(b) in the NATO mission, the sleeve cover of the blue colour shall have a sleeve character - the flag of the State and the letters "MP" with the symbol of NATO of silver; The sleeve pattern is shown in Annex 6.
(4) The sleeve character and sleeve cover are placed on the left sleeve.
(5) Other equipment, such as tactical vests, reflective vests and protective and other devices with a yellow or silvery inscription "VP ', or" MP' or "MILITARY POLICE 'may be used for the service and field uniforms referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3. Reflecting vest is an orange colour with silver reflective stripes and silver inscription" MILITARY POLICE "on a black background; the pattern of the reflective vest is shown in Annex 7.
(6) Other clothing components of the equipment shall be marked with the yellow inscription "MILITARY POLICE."
§ 2
Military officer's service pass
(1) The front page of the military officer's service pass (hereinafter referred to as the "service pass") has a blue and red background with a tricolour in the lower right corner. On the front of the service card there is a photo of the dimension 3 x 3 cm and the title "MINISTERSTO PROTECTION OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC." In addition to the photograph is the inscription "SERVICE TRAINING OF THE MILITARY POLICIST," under which is the depiction of a two-tail black lion and the figure 2003 with dimensions 15 x 17 mm. Under the photograph is the identification number and in the blue field the white sign "MILITARY POLICE."
(2) On the back of the service card, which has a blue background, the name, surname, title, rank and blood group of the holder of the service card, the text of the authorisation and instruction, the date of issue of the service card and the signature of the Minister of Defence; the model of the service card is shown in Annex 8.
(3) The service pass is stored in a black leather two-piece case. The military police badge with the identification number is attached to the left half of the case.
§ 3
Colour design and identification of means of transport Military Police
(1) The military police passenger vehicle is white with side horizontal longitudinal stripes of green. On these stripes is a black inscription "MILITARY POLICE."
(2) The personal off-road vehicle of the Military Police, which is established in the Army of the Czech Republic, is a dark khaki color with side horizontal longitudinal stripes of white colour on which the black sign "VOJENSKÝ POLICE 'is placed, or without these stripes, marked" VOJENSKÝ POLICE' on the sides of the vehicle.
(3) On the hood of the engine, luggage compartment and on both front doors is the Military Police sign in yellow and black on white background. In addition to the Military Police sign, if this vehicle type is allowed, the sign "MILITARY POLICE" is placed on the rear hood.
(4) Military police may also use the vehicle in any colour version if necessary. Such a vehicle shall be marked with the removable inscriptions "MILITARY POLICE 'and the removable characters" MILITARY POLICE' in the version referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3 when the vehicle driver uses a removable warning device supplemented by a special audible warning device (1).
(5) The model of the Military Police character is shown in Annex 9. The colour and marking of the Military Police vehicle are shown in Annex 10.
(6) The provisions of the preceding paragraphs shall apply mutatis mutandis to the designation of other means of transport by the Military Police, depending on their size and shape.
§ 4
Repeal
Decree No. 58 / 1996 Coll., laying down the external designation and service of the military police officer and the colour and marking of the means of transport of the Military Police, is hereby repealed.
§ 5
Transitional provision
For 60 days from the date of entry into force of this Order, the current military officer's service card shall remain valid.
§ 6
Efficacy
This Decree takes effect on 1 August 2003.
