GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 2 June 2008
on the second increase in pensions in 2008
The Government orders pursuant to Sections 67 (10) and 107 (3) of Act No. 155 / 1995 Coll., on Pension Insurance, as amended by Act No. 134 / 1997 Coll., Act No. 289 / 1997 Coll., Act No. 264 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 178 / 2008 Coll.:
Old-age pensions, full disability, partial invalidity, widower's, widower's and orphan's pensions awarded before 1 August 2008 are increased from the payment of the pension due after 31 July 2008 so that the basic pension rate increases by CZK 470 per month.
The basic rates of pensions awarded after 31 July 2008, referred to in § 33 (1), § 41 (1), § 45 (1), § 51 (1) and § 53 (1) of the Pension Insurance Act, are CZK 2,170 per month.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August 2008.
